Architect, writer, artist and theoretician of architecture. A dog in previous incarnation, was born 1956, graduated architecture in Belgrade 1980. 1978 studied Palladian architecture in Vicenza at prof. James S. Ackermann (Harvard University) and prof. Wolfgang Lotz (Cambridge, Mass.) Some of his early works containe eclectic references influenced by the ideas of postmodern architecture in America. 1985 Maldini took part in "Biennale de Paris, together with other icons of architecture, such as: Rossi, Ando, Botta, Erskine,Foster, Gehry, Maki, Moneo, Murphy/Jahn, Piano, Hadid, Rogers and others.
He wrote "Encyclopedia of architecture" in two volumes, with over 30.500 entries. With over 6.000 illustrations, this book covers architecture, town planning, design, interior design and other related arts and sciences. The book "Shadows of Gods" is history of town planning, that Maldini wrote 1981, but published later, 2004. In period 2004 - 2007 Maldini wrote "Encyclopedia of architecture" volumes 3 and 4, with 35.000 illustrations. Printing of he book was donated by City Assembly of Belgrade.
